Overview: This training programme will help participants to develop their ability to mediate successfully difficult situations and disputes within their organisation. The programme covers the definition, skills, behaviours and processes used by mediators. The programme also contains a lot of opportunities for skills practice, via active and at times challenging participation in a range of simulated scenarios. We are able to create client -focused scenarios to add additional realism to the training |
Facilitation Skills The Romans called mediators by a variety of names, including internuncius, medium, intercessor, philantropus, interpolator, conciliator, interlocutor, interpres, and finally mediator. Some cultures regarded the mediator as a sacred figure, worthy of particular respect; and the role partly overlapped with that of traditional wise men or tribal chief Training Style: Interactive, enjoyable and thought provoking.
